Mission Statement
 
The Education Committee serves the Boston Chapter in any areas that involve education about the wise use and protection of our natural resources.

The areas of initial effort will include:

  1. development of a program to work with youth groups to provide education on the wise use and protection of the outdoors;

  2. provision of a forum for discussion by representatives of the leadership training programs of minimal components to be included in the training of activity leaders;

  3. development of additional training programs for leaders of the Boston Chapter AMC. Such programs may include training for naturalist skills as well as follow-up trainings for established leaders
