Spring Cycling in the Berkshires

Join us for 30-50 mile led road rides over scenic, hilly country roads on both sides of the scenic Taconic Range along New York-Massachusetts-Vermont border (10-13 mph easy pace, but intermediate hilly terrain). $218-$258 per person includes 3 nights lodging in a relaxing country home (linens, blankets & towels included), 3 breakfasts, 2 happy hours & dinners Saturday & Sunday (meals fit for a foodie!). Ice Cream RIde

A ramble with frequent ice cream stops on the quiet back roads of central Massachusetts. We will wait for folks at turns and average 12.5 mph. Lunch/ice cream at mile 35 in Barre after all the hills.

You will need a working bike, bright clothes and helmet, spare inner tube, sun block and an ability to eat ice cream.

There are also two places to stop for a quick swim.

2017 RESCHEDULED New Members Ride

Join us for a fun and beautiful approximately 21-mile ride through Acton, Boxborough, Harvard, and Stow. Rolling terrain. Ride will be split into two groups: intermediate (13-16mph) and easy (10-13mph). Ride leaves promptly at 10:00am, Douglas School parking lot, 21 Elm St. Acton, MA. No advance sign-up necessary. Mashnee Island, Eel Pond, Cape Cod Canal Bike Ride

Join us for a leisurely scenic mid week ride exploring the Mashnee Island, and surrounds. The ride is flat, 23 miles. Arrive by 9:15am for a 9:30 start. Bring bike in good condition, helmet, spare tube, snack, water, wind breaker, sunblock.
We will start at the canal in Bourne riding around Mashnee Island first, then on to Eel Pond and then ride the canal and lunch at the Pavilion in Sandwich.

Bicycle Tour of Lake Champlain Islands 3rd Annual

All the charm of Lake Champlain Islands in 35-80 flat miles over scenic Vermont pavé roads (read: some unpaved sections), country stores, Adirondack & Green Mountains views, & dips in refreshing lake water.

The trip has all ingredients for relaxing yet active weekend: several stops at state parks, scenic views at every turn, multiple stops for locally fresh food, & frequent beach stops for opportunities to dip in the water. Plan on three days of riding: Friday through Sunday.

BICYCLE CAPE COD TOUR: HYANNIS-PROVINCETOWN

Experience bicycling Cape Cod in a day: train, ferry, bicycle path, farmers' market, salt water taffy, ice cream, bakery, lighthouses, & many beaches to dip in.

Start at 8:00am aboard the train from South Station to Hyannis ($20, plenty of capacity for bicycles). Navigate out of town to reach Cape Cod bicycle path to enjoy several parks, beaches, & food stops along the way. Visit the small towns of Orleans, Wellfleet, & Truro before arriving Provincetown for snack or early dinner.

Plan on easy pace, plenty of stops, & leisurely day.
