Or just lounge and relax beneath the towering pine trees. Cost $65 pp ($30 kids four & under) includes campsite, most meals, and s'mores. Communal cooking, chores and fun!

Family Camping on Cape Cod, Nickerson State Park, Brewster, MA

We will be camping at Nickerson State Park, a short walk from the beach at Flax Pond, where there is swimming, non-motorized boating, frog catching, biking and general fun. CHOOSE THE DAYS YOU WOULD LIKE TO COME! Great for kids/teens of all ages. Convenient to the Outer Cape and local attractions, bike trails, and bayside beaches. Informal group activities may include group biking trips, swimming and excursions. Group size is 25-30, and we dine together and share chores on a communal kitchen site known as the "blue tarp diner". Group site for tenting.

Elizabeth Ryan is a four-season hiking and backpacking leader with the AMC's Boston Chapter as well as the coordinator for the chapter's Spring Hiking Program. She has completed the New Hampshire 4000 footers, hiked in the Baxter park area and explored some of the glaciated North-west peaks. Upcoming trips include hiking in the Scottish Highlands and Iceland.

Casey leads trips year around for the hiking/backpacking committee of the AMC Boston Chapter. He often leads 3 Season and is heavily engaged in the H/B leadership and training programs such as Spring/Fall Leadership Training as well as our educational programs in the Spring and Winter Hiking Programs. Like other hiker that hike before sun up and after sun down and do 20+ miles, Casey likes to do the same only keep it under 10 miles :) He's experienced but not a speed daemon.

Winter Car Campin' at Lafayette CG

Looking to spend your weekend with awesome people in the mountains? Never been winter tent camping but want to give it a try in a low-key way? This is your chance. We'll meet at Lafayette Campground near Franconia Notch Saturday afternoon to set up camp and enjoy a Dutch oven campfire dinner, then get up very early Sunday morning to break camp and day hike up to the North and South Kinsmans: approx. 10 mi r/t, 2900 ft elevation gain, at typical winter pace 1-1.5 mph. You don't need prior winter camping experience, but should have some winter day hiking experience.

Mt. Washington Fall Foliage Weekend
